ABOUT RICKY TEMPLET

Councilman Ricky Templet’s move from a district councilman to advocating for improvements and developments across the parish has been both seamless and limitless. Any project worth completing has earned the energetic support of Councilman Templet.  

 

Through sheer perseverance, Councilman Templet generated hundreds of millions of dollars of storm protection across Jefferson Parish. His campaign for coastal restoration and insurance reform in the wake of devastating storms gained national appeal. He opened the door to robust economic development, millions of dollars of road widening and repairs to make our streets safer, and dozens of quality-of-life enhancing projects, and most recently launch a planned beautification project under expressways that will also prevent dangerous encampments.

With a vibrant, contagious energy behind everything he does, Councilman Templet has worked to advance every neighborhood in Jefferson Parish. He has proven that he has the energy, enthusiasm and skills of efficient leadership to influence the direction of the parish. And for that alone, he deserves our trust, confidence and support.
